Matthew McGlory

Matthew McGlory is a 2012 intern currently serving as the Events Coordinator at Windustry. He is responsible for the coordination, planning, and implementation of Windustry’s annual involvement in the Minnesota State Fair. Matthew is very excited to be introduced to the world of community wind as he views it as a way to connect communities across the nation. Matthew has served in various roles within the non-profit sector and prior to assuming the position at Windustry; Matthew worked as an Outreach Specialist for AccountAbility Minnesota where he lead and implementing a campaign aimed at increasing the number of eligible taxpayers utilizing free tax preparation services throughout the metro area during the 2011-2012 tax season. Matthew is active in the community in that he sits on the Northside Residents Redevelopment Council; he is a Social Father in the Baba Program at Harvest Preparatory Academy, and a board member at the WE Win institute. Matthew enjoys reading, developing policy plans, and traveling to visit friends and family members. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Jackson State University and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Advocacy & Political Leadership at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
